MODULAR FURNITURE MANAGEMENT PROJECT --- NEW ANNEX AND RENOVATION PROJECT, AMERICAN CONSULATE

Picture

T4 coordinated the onsite delivery and installation of 142 modular workstations and other furnishings provided by Knoll Furniture under the US Department of State Overseas Buildings Office (OBO) Overseas office furniture package. The three phase project was carried out T4's expatriate installation managers with T4's local installation contractor who had been trained by T4 over the course of several years and several projects in Nigeria. The project covered three phases all completed on time, within budget and schedule, in marked contrast with the other contractors who were on average seven months behind schedule. T4 was able to accommodate a tight move schedule of the Consulate's public affairs office from its former Lagos Island Broad Street location to the Ikoyi-based consulate. T4 demonstrated that it had the ability not only to accomodate its customers changing demands, it showed that it could transfer skills and knowledge to its local sub contractors in complex logistics and installation procedures and thereby save the US Government time and resources in the execution of its construction and furnishings projects without sacrificing performance or quality.
